Traditional Summer Camps

If you think this camp is just about horses... guess again! There is something for everyone - archery, paintball*, boating, swimming or playing foosball in the game room, and more! Campers will experience the high ropes course elements, like the Screamer Swing, and a new GPS treasure-hunt challenge called Geocaching. Optional classes for horse lovers include western riding, trail rides or arena games - or all three! Paintball enthusiasts can also enjoy an extra hour of paintball each day.

* Paintball as a cabin activity is only included for middle school sessions.

Payment plans are available only when registering online. A deposit of 25% is required at the time of online registration. Balance must be paid in full by June 15, 2010. Partial scholarships are available.

Cancellation fees: NO Refund will be given for cancellations within 30 days of the first day of camp.

Horsemanship Extravaganza

This week-long horse camp intensive is designed to give campers a more hands-on experience in many areas of horsemanship. Campers will spend four hours each day riding and vaulting, in addition to horse science classes, ground classes and activities that are geared toward horses. There will be an overnighter with activities including Dutch oven cooking as well as swimming, boating and high rope course. When you add fireside evenings, meeting new friends and building relationships, this is sure to be a lot of fun for those who want horses all week.

To obtain your free sweatshirt, once you have registered your child for an overnight camp please follow these simple steps:

• Become a fan of CRISTA Camps on Facebook - Crista Camps - Island Lake and Miracle Ranch.
• Parents must post on their Facebook status something like: “I just signed my child up for an incredible week of summer camp at Island Lake/Miracle Ranch – you should check it out - www.cristacamps.com”.
• Send an email to information@cristacamps.com with your name in the subject line, for verification purposes. In the email, please list your camper’s name, the camp they will be attending, and sweatshirt size. We will have your sweatshirt ready for pick up at your specific camp check-in. If you live nearby and would like to stop by the office and pick up your sweatshirt, just let us know and we can arrange that.
