Will You Send a Child to Camp? |
Every summer there are kids who miss out on summer camp because their parents can't afford the entire cost of a week at camp. We don't want that to happen! As a result, Island Lake and Miracle Ranch created the camper sponsorship fund which provides financial assistance to those families who can't afford the full cost of summer camp.
This past summer 436 children received assistance to attend summer camp. The sponsorships range from $70 - $430 and are based upon the family's situation and need.
It is amazing what this week of camp means to a child or teen. Their faces are so bright and their smiles so wide as they run across the camp. They love participating in all of the activity classes, singing and dancing at fireside, laughing with their new friends and hanging out with their counselors. It's a week where they have the freedom to just be a kid and enjoy it all.
All of the funds for these kids' week at camp come from friends like you. Your investment could be just the amount a child needs for this exceptional experience.
$456 would pay the basic fee for an entire week of camp
$286 is the average sponsorship amount for a week at camp
$150 could make up the needed difference in a child's camp fee
$100 would pay the deposit for a week of camp
$75 would pay for motorcycle or horsemanship instruction for a youth or teen at camp
$35 would pay for a week of paintball classes at camp
